The Biology Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, participated in the Pre-Working Meeting (Pre-Meeting) of the Executive Board of the Association of Biology Lecturers and Biology Education at Islamic Higher Education Institutions (ADBPB PTKI) for the 2025–2029 period, held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM WIB until completion. This event was held online via the Zoom platform and was attended by board members who are also biology lecturers from various PTKIs in Indonesia.

The Pre-Meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of ADBPB PTKI, Prof. Dr. Evika Sandi Savitri, M.P. (UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang). In her presentation, Prof. Evika emphasized the importance of internal restructuring of the association and presented the strategic program plan of ADBPB PTKI for the 2025–2029 period.

The presentation was continued by representatives from several fields. The Research Division presented plans to strengthen collaborative research among members, aimed at improving the quality and quantity of scientific publications in national and international journals. Meanwhile, the Community Service Division designed joint community service programs to be implemented both online and offline.

The Secretariat Division also discussed the agenda for evaluating and managing the association's website, as well as evaluating journal collaborations as an effort to increase the visibility and academic performance of association members.

The participation of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Jakarta in this activity is a strategic step to strengthen academic networks, encourage collaboration in the three pillars of higher education, and actively contribute to the development of Biology and Biology Education in the Indonesian Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKI) environment.
