Lembang, July 2025 - Artificial Insemination Center (BIB) Lembang will receive a study visit from Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on Friday, July 11, 2025, during office hours.

The group consists of 51 participants, 50 students and 1 accompanying lecturer, Dr. drh. Raden Rara Bhintarti Suryohastari, M. Biomed. This visit aims to add insight to students in learning Embryology courses, especially related to the technology of providing frozen sperm as part of the application of reproductive biotechnology in livestock.

During this visit, students will be introduced to the selection process of superior semen, semen collection and processing, to frozen semen storage. Participants will also visit the laboratory and cage area to see first-hand the practices carried out by the BIB Lembang technical team.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students can gain a more concrete understanding of the frozen sperm production process and how this technology plays a role in supporting breeding programs and increasing livestock productivity in Indonesia.
