Seventh-semester students and microbiology lecturers Prof. Megga Ratnasari Pikoli, M.Si., and Arina Findo Sari, M.Si. visited an industry that manufactures microbiological products to observe the production process.

On this occasion, on the morning of December 8, 2025, they visited Etana Biotechnologies, where they were warmly welcomed by competent staff. During this visit, they had the opportunity to observe the downstream processes for modern vaccines and other biological products that meet Good Manufacturing Practices standards, as well as the quality control processes, particularly from a microbiological perspective.

In the afternoon of the same day, they visited Pusat Pengembangan Benih dan Proteksi Tanaman DKI Jakarta in Cibubur, where they were warmly received by the friendly staff. This opportunity was used to study and practice some of the inoculation processes for the production of biological agents.

Hopefully, this activity will broaden the students' knowledge and provide them with valuable learning experiences, namely by combining industrial microbiology theory with real-world practice in industrial facilities. Another hope is that students will have a high interest in getting involved and playing a role in industries related to microbiology in the future.
